Today we look back and remember how Jesus gave himself to overcome evil and win our salvation.

Jesus entered the city on his way to total victory over everything that opposes God and binds people in darkness. He would conquer as a warrior through the suffering, the sacrifice and rise as the King.

In the incarnation, Jesus lived fully dependent on God to do the things he did. He felt the needs of people around him and met them by the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit. Though not perfect people as he was, we can live in the way he lived because of what he did…

Jesus came to destroy the works of the evil one and to set free those bound by darkness and sin. He can save anyone and everyone who comes to Him, no matter what condition they are in. Here is real encouragement for us to keep seeking His kingdom to come in our day.
